There is a similar pattern that I see with all of my clients- no one is hitting their protein targets! Most people associate the action of proteins with muscle building alone. Protein is essential for building brain chemicals, hormones, proper detoxification and optimal body composition. If you are looking to improve health and wellbeing, quality dietary protein is a non negotiable-- it is the first action step that I take with clients.
