About Our Farms
We work hard with small family-owned farms in the Ottawa Valley to provide genuine farm orders that work for every customer. All the farms we partner with date back to the early 1800s. They use zero non-therapeutic antibiotics or hormones, all their animals are free-range, and 100% grass fed. We coordinate with these family farms and our customers to ensure you only get what you want. All meat is inspected provincially or federally, guaranteeing that our meat is the highest quality possible.
Our Beef Farmers are located in Ottawa, Metcalfe, Embrun, Russell, Limoges, Carleton Place, White Lake, and Bourget.
Our Pork Farmers are located in Finch, Winchester, and Embrun.
Our Chicken Farmers are located in: Ottawa, Russell, Embrun, Cobden, and Greely.
Our Lamb Farmers are located in Winchester and Chesterville.
We get our seafood through wild, sustainable fisheries on both the East Coast and the West Coast of Canada.
Darius grew up on and around farms. He’s a certified born-and-bred country boy, and he’s worked for poultry, beef, pork, dairy and vegetable farms. This has afforded him a very intimate knowledge of farming in the Ottawa area, especially when it comes to the difference between small family farms and large-scale farming.

Jeff is a well known Ottawa entrepreneur, using his success as an international carpet cleaning tycoon to spring board into the sports business world. Jeff was the owner of the Ottawa 67’s and Ottawa REDBLACKS, turning both into successes on the field and at the box office. Having deep routes in the Ottawa community, Jeff had a strong desire to get involved with a business dedicated to supporting Ottawa farmers. Jeff is now an owner of Ottawa Valley Meats and is putting his business acumen towards helping farmers get their product to the public.
