Get ready to unleash your inner chef and show your culinary skills in our Master Chef competition. This is your chance to prove that you have what it takes to be crowned the OVM Master Chef!

How to Participate:

1. Create Your Recipe: This is your time to shine! Think of a recipe that will catch the attention of our judges. Using an Ottawa Valley Meats product as the centerpiece, this recipe will be what makes you stand out from the rest.
2. Submit Your Recipe To Us: Once your recipe is ready to join the competition, submit it to our team. Please include details such as ingredients, cooking time, etc.
3. Moving Onto The Next Round: Our judges will review all submissions and select the top 8 contestants that stand out the most. If your entry is selected, we will provide you with meat to bring it to life! You will film a video creating the recipe, and then it's time for our community to step in!
4. The Competition Begins: We will post the video onto our YouTube Channel, and the community will decide which entries will be moving onto the next round. This will be determined by the amount up upvotes each video has.

How to Get Started:

1. Register: Submit your recipe before TBD, 2024. Send your entry to us at customersupport@ottawavalleymeats.com, and if your entry has been chosen, we will reach out to you with details on the next step.

Competition Highlights:

1. Judging Criteria: The initial entrants will be judged on creativity and use of OVM products. The following rounds (or final 8) are voting rounds. These winners are picked by the contestants with the most likes on the OVM YouTube post of your submitted video. Top 8 contestants are required to create and submit a video no longer than 10 minutes.
2. Enter For Your Chance To Win Prizes: If you've been selected to join our Master Chef Competition, no matter where you finish, each round has available prizes to be won!
3. Community Engagement: Voting will be based on your ability to get people to like your video! Encourage your friends and family to go to your video and like it! Most likes wins!

Key Dates:

• TO BE DETERMINED - Last day to submit recipes to customersupport@ottawavalleymeats.com. We will contact to top 8 with instructions for first round.
  
• TO BE DETERMINED - Deadline to pickup products for cooking video AND submit videos.
  
• TO BE DETERMINED -  We upload videos and announce on our social media channels voting has opened for 8 contestants.
  
• TO BE DETERMINED - Voting for round 1 is done, and the top 4 with most votes win. We will send instructions to the winners for next round.
  
• TO BE DETERMINED - Deadline for top 4 to pickup free product AND submit their next cooking video.
  
• TO BE DETERMINED - OVM will upload the videos to our YouTube Channel and announce voting is open on our social media channels.
  
• TO BE DETERMINED -  Voting is closed for round 3, top 2 with most votes moved on to final round. We will reach out with further instructions.
  
• TO BE DETERMINED -  Deadline to pickup ingredients AND submit videos.
  
• TO BE DETERMINED -  OVM will upload videos to our YouTube channel and announcing voting is open on all our social media channels.
  
• TO BE DETERMINED - Voting ends. OVM Master Chef Season 3 is announced!
