Master Chef – BBQ Edition 2021

Ottawa Valley Meats is looking for our very own Master Chef!

We will be holding a cook-off with the winner getting a grand prize of a $1,000 gift certificate for Ottawa Valley Meats. Contestants selected for the 2nd round will receive free meat for their creations, and all voters will be entered in a draw for a free box of meat!

Deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm June 22, 2021.


  • All creations must have a minimum of 1 meat ingredient.
  • Contestants must use solely Ottawa Valley Meats products where applicable (meat, milk, etc). These ingredients will be provided at no cost.
  • Only the contestant may prepare the meals.
  • Chosen contestants must prepare their submission by video. Videos are to be no longer than 3 minutes in length.
  • Submission should include: preparation, cooking instructions, and plating instructions.

  • Winners of each round will be decided by a combination of votes on YouTube and Facebook post (to be hosted by Ottawa Valley Meats business page).
  • Facebook post reactions, YouTube likes, YouTube dislikes, Facebook shares will count as votes. Comments will not count as a vote.
  • Top 4 advance from first round, top 2 from second round. Candidate with the most votes at the end of third round is declared the Master Chef BBQ Edition winner!
  • Ottawa Valley Meats reserves the right to disqualify any contestant at its own discretion.
